All Outlaws and Pros who did not qualify for finals were setup for Friday’s CWSA’s innovative Last Chance Qualifier (LCQ) format to fill the final skim spots in Finals.ĭay 2 was furious with surf heats in the morning where another 12 Amateur and Masters athletes advanced to the Saturday Final in surf, and another 16 Pro and Outlaw riders advanced to the Final in surf. Thursday’s heats saw 16 Amateur, Masters and Junior riders and 16 Pro and Outlaw skim riders advance to the Saturday final. This 3 day World Championship was intense and with over 265 competition runs, riders in the 17 divisions battled it out to claim coveted World titles. What an astonishing weekend of wakesurfing !
